If just the idea of writing your resume seems overwhelming, relax. There's a resume building tool on the web called emurse.com that will guide you the process. All you have to do is enter quality text into a few boxes.
When you finish, EMURSE provides you with optional output formats (Microsoft Word (DOC), Adobe PDF (PDF), Rich Text (RTF), OpenDoc (ODT), Web (HTML).
You can also store your resume online ( and keep it secure and password protected) so that you can access it from anywhere.
Now while I'm not sure I'd recommend that most people store their resumes on the web in a google-able fashion, EMURSE does provide the means for that as well. If you're out of a job and unable to win the interest of a recruiter, you might give it a try. Both decent recruiters and opportunists are likely to find you.
